Electronic and Tests Technician

Reporting to the Technical Production Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and continuously improving our processes, as well as maintaining automated test systems to ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, program, and implement test systems to test manufactured products.
- Develop and maintain automated test benches (hardware and software).
- Participate in defining validation and qualification plans.
- Perform diagnostics and failure analyses to support production and development.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to improve testing processes.
- Document procedures, prepare technical reports, and ensure result traceability.
Required Education and Experience
- DEC in Electronics Technology (computer systems, industrial electronics, or equivalent).
- 2 to 5 years of experience in the development or operation of test systems.
- Knowledge of programming languages (C, C++, C#, Python, SQL, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of electronic schematics, instrumentation, and test benches.
Knowledge of printed circuit boards (PCB) is an asset. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks, FUSION, ERP / MRP systems. Illustrator is an asset.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and manufactured product design.
- Advanced knowledge of industrial equipment, including robotics, CNC machines, and other systems.
- Strong ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a solution-oriented mindset and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage priorities under pressure and handle multiple projects in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
- Bilingualism required (French and English, spoken and written), as the incumbent will interact daily with international colleagues, clients, and partners who do not speak French.
