Gli apparecchi Lumencove XTD cambia colore accentuano la curva del Century Link Center a Omaha, Nebraska.

Featuring a 14,000-seat arena and 194,000-ft² exhibition hall, the CenturyLink Center in downtown Omaha is a modern, multi-functional entertainment complex. In order to restore a lighting design that had been affected by water damage, property managers the Metropolitan Entertainment & Convention Authority (MECA) turned to Lumenpulse.

"We wanted to maintain the concept, which is to accentuate the curve of the building to create a pleasing, yet distinguishable, perspective on the architectural flow of the structure," said Mike Maryott, MECA's Director of A/V Technology.

To accomplish this, MECA chose Lumencove XTD Color Changing luminaires. The fixtures use metal end caps and are IP67 sealed, ensuring that they stand up to the elements and any potential water infiltration.

"Lumenpulse was chosen based on many criteria. Some of the main ones being the rugged structure of the light housing, the flexibility of the programing and the affordability of the product," Maryott said.

MECA opted for a 1-for-1 swap of luminaires in existing locations, with the conduit running DMX wiring. The Lumencove XTD are individually addressed per foot and assigned to various universes in an 8-universe Pharos system. Set to astronomical triggers from sunset to sunrise on a daily basis, the fixtures can also be programmed to commemorate different events and occasions.

"Our flexibility to control this system both locally and remotely has been very helpful. We have been able to take advantage of the color programming to enhance the awareness of events in and around our facility," Maryott said.

The result maintains the original lighting concept, all while increasing the system's durability and efficiency.

Lumenpulse è stato scelto in base a criteri diversi. Alcuni dei principali sono la struttura robusta del corpo degli apparecchi, la flessibilità della programmazione e l'accessibilità del prodotto.
