Forklift Operator

Your Responsibilities
- Operate the forklift in the warehouse that is used for picking orders for production;
- Respond to various requests from warehouse workers to lower pallets;
- Assist the Team Leader and the Supervisor in the various tasks of material management;
- Carry out the loading and unloading of trailers in a safe manner;
- Handle goods and ensure accuracy of data in the computer system;
- Responsible for safety during the use of the forklift and the cleanliness of its working environment;
- Move goods using manual and/or electric pallet trucks;
- Wrapping pallets with plastic wrap;
- Arrange pallets (wood and/or plastic) and boxes;
- Participate in continuous improvement projects;
- Carry out picking and placement of items
- Perform all other related tasks.
Education + Experience Required
- High school diploma or equivalent experience;
- Forklift Operator Competency Card.
Qualifications + Skills Required
- Work with order and method;
- Ability to read drawings;
- Experience with inventory management software;
- Be able to perform the job with minimal supervision;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Be able to express oneself in French, orally and in writing, and have a basic knowledge of English, both orally and in writing, to interact occasionally with colleagues, clients and partners at the office. international and who do not speak French;
