François-Xavier Souvay
Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer
François-Xavier Souvay is a seasoned entrepreneur with more than 20 years’ experience in the lighting industry. He acquired Luxtec Lighting Group Inc. in 1999 and quickly transformed Luxtec into a leader in the architectural lighting market, providing integrated lighting solutions for commercial, institutional, and urban environments.
Souvay has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer at Lumenpulse since its inception in 2006. As CEO, Souvay oversees the global vision and strategic planning of the company, maintaining the company’s reputation for innovation and customer service. Souvay is driven by the challenge of transforming the world of lighting with cutting-edge sustainable LED technology.
Robert Comeau
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Robert Comeau is a Chartered Accountant with more than 30 years of experience. He is reputed for his solid background in financial planning and reporting, treasury and financing, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and information systems.
During his career, Comeau has been CFO of both public and private companies. Among them was Emergis Inc., a public company, where he was involved in its sale to TELUS Communications Company. He also worked at Nortel Networks, where he was VP of Finance for various divisions, and was notably CFO for an international joint venture with Matra. In addition, Comeau served as CEO of Media5 Corporation, a company that develops Voice Over IP software and hardware.
Yvan Hamel
Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Yvan Hamel is Senior Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer at Lumenpulse. In this role, he is responsible for maintaining the company’s reputation for excellence in product innovation. He heads up R&D, and oversees the development, design, manufacturing, testing and improvement of the full Lumenpulse line of products.
Hamel has over 25 years of experience in design and product development in the lighting industry, and management of large-scale projects. This experience enables him to lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers and technicians, as well as supervise R&D projects. Prior to joining Lumenpulse, he was Operations Manager at Lumec-Schreder and Senior Project Manager in Product Development at Lumec.
Jean Clermont
Vice President of Manufacturing Operations
Jean Clermont has 28 years of experience in leading supply chain operations. A reputed agent of change, he’s applied his expertise to everything from negotiations to demand planning, sales and operations, logistics, project management, process enhancement and systems integration.
Clermont obtained his MBA from the University of Sherbrooke, as well as Operations Management diplomas from HEC Montreal. Previously, he was Vice President of Supply Chain Management at Aveos Fleet Performance Inc. There, he is credited with carving out the supply chain activities related to the maintenance, repair and overhaul of Air Canada devices, implementing inventory solutions, and creating distribution centers for Canada, the U.S., Mexico and Central America. Before Aveos, Clermont was Director of Global Optical Supply Chain Operations at Nortel Networks, a company he was with for 23 years.
Greg Campbell
Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of Engineering
Greg Campbell is responsible for establishing Lumenpulse as an innovation leader in solid state lighting. As the driver of Lumenpulse’s technology strategy, Campbell oversees product development, manufacturing, and the company’s supply chain. Previously, Campbell helped manage the product development roadmap and innovation strategy in his role as Electrical Engineering Manager at Philips Color Kinetics.
Prior to joining Philips Color Kinetics, he served as an embedded systems engineer at BNS, where he focused on bringing intelligent solutions and innovative products to market. Campbell holds numerous patents related to solid state lighting technology innovation, which highlight his expertise in the field. He has a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
Brandon M. Siemion
Executive Vice President of Sales, the Americas
Brandon M. Siemion serves as Executive Vice President of Sales, Americas at Lumenpulse. He is responsible for business development, developing the Lumenpulse brand, and expanding the company’s footprint in the Americas. Siemion leads a customer-focused team in delivering a superior experience for customers and manufacturing representatives.
Siemion brings over 20 years of experience to the role, including expertise in the LED lighting marketplace. Prior to joining Lumenpulse, he had an 11-year career in senior level positions at Philips Color Kinetics, where he held the position of Director of Business Development, and also served as Director of Sales.
Gorm Teichert
Executive Vice President of International Sales
Gorm Teichert is Executive Vice President of International Sales at Lumenpulse. He is responsible for managing Lumenpulse’s expansion in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Teichert is a 20-year lighting industry veteran who brings more than two decades of senior-level lighting experience to his role.
Prior to joining Lumenpulse, he was Chief Marketing Officer at Lighting Science Group. Before that, he spent seven years at Martin Professional A/S, where he held the position of Senior Vice President of Market Development. Teichert was also Managing Director at Erco Lighting in the UK, and has held senior positions with Lightmakers A/S and Louis Poulsen.
Yvon Roy
Executive Vice President of Finance
Yvon Roy is a seasoned chartered accountant who is responsible for the financial administration at Lumenpulse. Roy brings over 14 years of financial control experience to his role. Prior to joining Lumenpulse, he served as Vice President of Finance at ProDrive Systems, where he spent nearly 6 years.
Previously, he was Corporate Controller at Actional Corporation, a Silicon Valley venture-funded software company (now Progress Software). He has also held senior positions at KPMG, in the corporate tax department, and at Pricewaterhouse Coopers where he was involved in financial advisory services. Roy holds a BCom in Business Administration from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), and an MSc in accountancy from HEC Montréal.
Julie Lamontagne
Vice President of Human Resources
Julie Lamontagne has worldwide responsibility for Lumenpulse’s strategic human resources activities, including talent management, talent acquisition, performance management, HR policies and governance. She brings over 15 years of experience in her field to her role.
Lamontagne was previously a Senior HR Business Partner with Bell Canada, where she spent 5 years and was a Bell President’s Club Winner. Before that, she spent 3 years as HR Director for Brookfield Lepage Johnson Controls. She has also held HR Consultant positions with Ceridian Canada and SIBN (a subsidiary of National Bank. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations from the University of Montreal and holds a CRHA professional designation with l’Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés.
Jesse Lilley
Vice President of Marketing
Jesse Lilley leads Lumenpulse’s global marketing strategy. Responsible for marketing the company’s expanding product portfolio, he heads up advertising, communications, branding, events and training activities. He brings a wealth of experience to the role.
In 2008, he established marketburo, a consultancy specialized in promoting clients within the lighting, architecture and design sectors. Previously, he spent 7 years with Martin Professional, progressing to a senior marketing management role. He has contributed to industry magazines and journals such as Professional Lighting Design, Lighting (UK) and Lighting and Sound International, and has spoken at industry events including PLDC. Currently based in Montreal, Canada, he has lived and worked in England, France, Italy and Denmark and holds a Master’s degree from Cambridge University.
