M&A & Investor Relations Analyst

M&A

  • Assist in performing comprehensive competitive and market analysis;
  • Assist in the process of evaluating M&A targets, and other project proposals against strategic objectives;
  • Supports execution (selection of counterparties, due diligence coordination, …) and closing processes
  • Creates Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) Analysis and Valuation models


Investor Relations

  • Assist with preparation of market robust communication: Company results presentations to analyst, press releases, annual report, roadshow briefing packs, etc.;
  • Help to develop Q&A documents and briefing notes for analyst and shareholder briefings;
  • Monitors analyst reports and summarizes them for senior management
  • Provide support for projects and announcements; and
  • Establish strong working relationships within dept and across function:and
  • Helps enhance internal best practices and models.


Performs various ad hoc analysis and tasks as necessary

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance


Competencies

  • A recognized professional accounting designation (CA, CPA, CGA or CMA) or financial analyst designation (CFA)
  • Working knowledge of business and financial analysis and modeling
  • Knowledgeable about financial markets and the macro environment (namely by keeping up with the news)
  • Experience in conducting industry research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities, and investment due diligence
  • Experience in generating and writing concise reports based on qualitative and quantitative data for presentation to senior management
  • Self-confident person who is a self-starter; highly motivated and reliable, with strong team spirit, well organised with good attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with all levels of internal and external personnel, strong team player
  • Excellent technical / analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and tasks
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent bilingual written and verbal communication skills
